Cisco Bug: CSCvh57414 - n9k patchless kernel: urib shared mem maximum config limiting to 768MB
Sep 07, 2018
- Cisco Nexus 9000 Series Switches
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: If upgrade is done with both urib and u6rib shared memories kept at maximum(1024MB and 512MB respectively) to Hamilton release. The system may not boot up and continuously crashing. Conditions: if the previous configs have 1024MB and 512MB for urib and u6rib shared memory. Also if the ascii config replay is done with 1024MB and 512MB of shared memories for urib and u6rib, the CR will fail and roll back to the old config. So may be the ascii configs should be changed to 768MB or below(if that much memory not needed) for urib and try the CR.
