- Cisco ASR 9000 Series Aggregation Services Routers
Known Affected Releases
5.3.2.K9SEC
Description (partial)
Symptom: A few hours after establishing a Site-to-Site IPSec tunnel, the Virtualized Services Module (VSM) data plane stops forwarding any traffic. This affects all Site-to-Site IPSec tunnels as well as any G-VPN GDOI groups, even if only one of the configured tunnels is matching the conditions. All configured IPSec Tunnel interfaces are shown as Up/Up, even though no traffic is passing trough the tunnel. Conditions: A Site-to-Site IPSec tunnel is established between Cisco ASR9000 Series router with Virtualized Services Module A9K-VSM-500 and 3rd party device. The Cisco ASR9000 Series router acts as IPSec Initiator.
