Cisco Bug: CSCuw55425 - EPG sclass incorrect when previously static on L3Out
Feb 11, 2018
- Cisco LAN Switch Software
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: Traffic destined to an endpoint is incorrectly classified with an external EPG sclass. As a result, the traffic does not match the expected filters and may be policy dropped. Conditions: If an endpoint is learned in a subnet that has a matching /32 external prefix configured in an external EPG, then the pctag (sclass) used for policy enforcement will be reassigned to the external EPG. If the external prefix is then deleted, and the fabric host is active, hardware will continue to assign the fabric host the sclass of the external EPG. This is a misconfiguration. /32 prefixes on external L3out's should not overlap with other subnets in the same VRF within the fabric.
