Last Modified

Feb 07, 2017

Products (1)

  • Cisco ASA 5500-X Series Firewalls

Known Affected Releases

1.2(3.4)

Description (partial)

Symptom:
Current version of ASA Device package requires port numbers specified in digit for ex. for HTTP port digit is 80.

Conditions:
Above config is pushed correctly to ASA but ASA service-object appears with "string" as "http" instead of digit as "80".
Now when device package will be re-validated, Device package reads the "80" as not compliant configuration based on L4-7 parameters string "http" configured.

In turn, on ASA device there will an addition and deletion of same service-object will happen.
