Description (partial)

Symptom:
HW: module  WS-X4640-CSFP-E on any supported supervisor engine & chassis

1. Linecrard is detected and registered properly:
2. If several interfaces are up on the linecard (e.g. 1/2/1 and 1/2/3)then :
a. MAC address from both ports appear to belong only to one interface
b. multiple CDP neighbors are detected on one interface
c. Traffic from other interfaces of linecard is not forwarded
d. CDP neighbor for connected device may not show up

Conditions:
This issue of traffic distruption and wrong CDP learning happens with Organa line cards with optical sfp connects.
