Description (partial)

The single/multi-machine blue print request fails with DVS (distributed virtual switch) validation error

This happens if the host on which the VM is created/cloned, does not have any physical nic (network interface card) attached to the distributed virtual switch (DVS). Then the APIC workflow does a validation check to ensure that at least one physical nic is attached. When it finds a host that does not have any pnic attached, it fails the single/multi-machine creation with the "DVS validation failed error". The error message also prints which host is not attached.
