Last Modified

Nov 18, 2015

Products (3)

  • Cisco TelePresence Video Communication Server (VCS)
  • Cisco TelePresence Video Communication Server Model
  • Cisco Expressway

Known Affected Releases

X8.5.3

Description (partial)

Symptom:
Page 19 of the MRA Deployment Guide mentions "the names of the Phone Security Profiles in Unified CM
that are configured for encrypted TLS and are used for devices requiring remote access. Use the
FQDN format and separate multiple entries with commas."

But it is not clearly stated that "Authenticated" will fail and only "Encrypted" is supported in the device security profile in CUCM.

Conditions:
Configuring secure phone profiles for MRA deployment. The device security profile must be set to Encrypted or CUCM will reject the registration.
