Last Modified

Known Affected Releases
11.0
Description (partial)
Symptom: When a user's first name or last name (comprises the display name) is changed either in LDAP or UDS directories, Jabber does not automatically update this information for all watchers of this user in their contact list. This is expected behavior and was closed, not to be pursued in CSCut89130 Jabber Display Name not updating after name change Until Jabber is able to automatically update display names from the directory source, this behavior needs to be clarified in the Jabber documentation somewhere. Also, providing the steps required for all users to correct the display name when one of their contacts' name changes, is necessary. 1. Remove contact from contacts list 2. Logout 3. Clear cache 4. Login 5. Add contact Conditions: Jabber First name / Last name update in LDAP/UDS directories
