Cisco Bug: CSCuw23829 - DN1 shows slot 9 instead of 8 slots
Jan 15, 2019
- Cisco Unified Computing System
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: This applies to all the UCSC-C240-M4 servers. On inserting a HDD into the final disk slot shows an additional invalid HDD on a non-existing (max-slot+1) slot. For example, on a UCSC-C240-M4S server with 8 slots, adding a HDD into the final slot-8, shows an extra invalid HDD on slot-9. This is in addition to the proper/valid HDD info shown on the expected slot-8. Conditions: This can occur for any UCSC-C240-M4 servers on inserting a HDD into the final disk slot. There are no other specific conditions or configurations needed to observe this issue.
