Cisco Bug: CSCuw21499 - Smart Scheduler does not check on the permissions in TMS for bookings
Nov 22, 2016
- Cisco TelePresence Management Suite (TMS)
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: Settings for bookings set in TMS for the different devices like MCUs are not being checked by the Smart Scheduler when making scheduled conferences. So also if the setting is set to no, it will still book the conference. Conditions: When differentiating different user groups in case you have more users that are allowed on Smart Scheduler than you have MCU resources. For example with a VIP group, you want to have a separate MCU only for those users so that they are sure of the capacity by giving only that user group permissions on the MCU. However with the current implementation in smart scheduler it will ignore those permissions and no differentiation can be made.
