Description (partial)

Symptom:
On N7k(N77-SUP2E), Temperature sensors may stalls or stops responding for linecards after EPLD update to 6.2.12 nx-os image. It seems like platform timer which runs every minute to poll the temperature is not running. Tried Manually reading the sensors..and it read the correct values. As these timers are managed by the epld code. Suspecting if EPLD upgrade trigged the event.

In customer setup we have seen some instance where for linecards polling never started after upgrade and in some instances it started the polling after the upgrade but stalls as soon as module hit the high temperature threshold.

Conditions:
NX-OS and EPLD(system auto-upgrade epld) update to 6.2.12
