Symptom: Ethernet MPID Ping fails in CFM over VPLS for ACs with SSFP Optics Observe that the Ethernet MPID ping Passes for the CFM sessions for the Attachment circuits inserted with non SSFP optics. Conditions: 1. Load the configuration files in both of the devices as attached. 2. Initialize the Ethernet cfm session in both of the devices 3. Create VPLS & CFM session over it 4. Observe that; the VPLS session is UP in both of the sides; 5. Observe that the CFM session is UP & running 6. Observe that the Ethernet MPID ping is failing for the CFM session created over the VPLS 7. Note that the ACs (Attachment Circuit) used here should be inserted with SSFP optics 8. Observe that the Ethernet MPID ping Passes for the CFM sessions for the Attachment circuits inserted with non SSFP optics.
