Description (partial)

You may see following warning messages for some multicast or traffic for non existing BD.
Then leaf will drop the packets and generate the warning messages.

However, if that is the case, we should not raise warning for this type of issues.

Mar 31 03:00:11 <188>: Mar 31 03:00:12 leaf-lq050109 %LOG_LOCAL7-4-SYSTEM_MSG [F120368][raised][threshold-crossed][warning][sys/qosm/if-[eth1/50]/class-level3/fault-F120368] TCA: ingress drop packets rate(qosmIngrPkts5min:dropRate) value 88 raised above threshold 10

This is typical seen in the condition where multicast traffic from the fabric is flooded. These packets may be flooded to a leaf for which there are not endpoints in that EPG. In that case, the packets will be dropped.

These drops will shows as LB drops as well as class 0 drops with the vsh_lc port counters output in "show platform internal counters port <port #>".
