Description (partial)

CP- 8841 phone restarts when PC or laptop is plugged or unplugged from the "PC Port" of the phone that is connected to an 802.1x switch port. If the PC already connected, the Cisco Identity Service Engine (ISE) initiates a new 802.1X authentication, then the phone will re-start.

If the phone is connected to a non-802.1x switch port, the phone does not restart when the PC is plugged or unplugged from the "PC Port".

The issue is reproducible in the following three (3) cases:

Case 1:
•	Connect the PC to the Phone
•	Start 802.1x authentication
•	The phone re-registers one time.
•	After registration, the phone will work fine.

Case 2:
•	Disconnect PC to Phone,
•	After 10 seconds the phone re-registers one time.
•	After registration, the phone will work fine.

Case 3:
•	The PC is connected to the phone all time
•	Cisco Identity Service Engine start up new 802.1X auth, after dot1x timeout
•	The phone comes in registration state.

Phone is connected to an 802.1x switch port
