Last Modified

May 13, 2018

Products (1)

  • Cisco Carrier Routing System

Known Affected Releases

5.1.1.MCAST 5.3.2.BASE

Description (partial)

Symptom:
During mLDP FRR, duplicate packets are seen for 100 ms after the initial 50ms drop due to link down. The expectation is to see the duplicates for a very short duration, when the MergePoint adds the new (MBB) LSP and removes the old LSP.

Conditions:
mLDP FRR should be enabled, either with P2P-TE-backup tunnels or with LFA backup LSPs
