Cisco Bug: CSCut49074 - VC: Can delete network/subnet/router even when there is a VM attached
Feb 19, 2016
- Cisco Virtual Topology System
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: With a VM attached to a port group, the user is able to delete the network from the VTS configuration page of the vDS. Conditions: The user has configured a new network, but did not attach any subnets. At some time in the future, the user goes to delete the network, which succeeds from VTS' point of view, but the vDS that has the VM attached to the port group still shows the old port group. Because the port group is in use, vCenter has denied VTS from deleting the port group.
