Cisco Bug: CSCut40424 - CPPOSLIB-3-ERROR_NOTIFY traceback and cpp download fail
Feb 14, 2018
- Cisco cBR Series Converged Broadband Routers
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: %CPPOSLIB-3-ERROR_NOTIFY and %FMFP-3-OBJ_DWNLD_TO_CPP_FAILED msg printed out occasionally. This may eventually lead to a crash of either supervisor in the chassis. Further, if this issue has occurred on both supervisors and a failover occurs (due to a crash or otherwise), service may be impacted on connected cable modems. Conditions: This is a timing issue related to internal programming of QoS data structures. It has been seen to happen when there is heavy traffic and frequent modem state change and voice calls. This could happen more often when resiliency BG is enabled with 'cable resiliency ds-bonding'.
