Description (partial)

Symptom:
While upgrading from CVP 8.5 to CVP 10.5, customer exports applications from Call Studio 8.5 as File System, then imports applications in Call Studio 10.5 as Existing call Studio project into Workspace. Validate the application, it is ok and application works. But when try to add a new element, for example an audio element into the callflow,  there is NullPointer exception, then we can delete that new element and try to validate again, but then we get lots of errors from old elements. Before adding new audio element there was no error. Lots of elements settings like value settings or decision element settings disappear. These are error samples:

Configuration error: The value of the setting "xxxxxx" cannot be left blank.
Configuration error: Please create the content for this decision using the Decision Editor.

And also when compared, the application folders before and after, we can see that element xml files in callflow\pages\ are different
