  • Cisco IOS

Known Affected Releases

15.1(2)SY4.1 15.1(2)SY5.1

Description (partial)

Symptom:
When changing the global configuration of Flexible NetFlow (monitor/record/export) there is a chance for memory to get corrupted and cause a crash due to improper handling of live flows.

The trigger appears to be the use of the one if not all of the following show commands, soon after making the configuration changes:

show flow monitor <monName>
show flow monitor <monName> cache
show flow monitor <monName> statistics

Conditions:
Flows need to be passing through the device already and changes on the global configuration of FNF need to be made.
