Cisco Bug: CSCut27608 - LDAP queries should treat invalid server responses a failover event
Nov 11, 2016
- Cisco Email Security Appliance
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: Invalid LDAP acceptance query responses from an LDAP Server (such as ' directory not available' or ' 'Directory unwilling to perform') result in a failed accept query and the incoming message gets dropped. The customer requests that the only valid response for an LDAP query should be a zero or a one. Anything else should be treated a fail over event. Conditions: CES customer using Secure LDAP to query three LDAP proxy servers (VIS) for acceptance queries and group queries.
