- Cisco MDS 9000 NX-OS and SAN-OS Software
Known Affected Releases
This issue may be exposed to customer. Symptom: Reloading of F3 module followed by F2 module reload; brings the fabricpath bfd sessions on l3 svi to down state, due to ACL install failed on F3 modules. Conditions: Configure IPv4/IPv6 Fabricpath BFD sessions on L3 SVI with fabricpath member ports on F3 and F2E modules. With this configuration - issue occurs in the following conditions, * Reload the F3 module where BFD was hosted. Once the F3 goes down, BFD session is moved to F2 LC. Once the F3 is back online, BFD sessions moves back to F3. * Now reload the module F2. Upon reloading the F2 module ACL entries on F3 module are getting deleted and never creates back, as a result fabricpath bfd sessions will never come up again.
