Description (partial)

Symptom:
When we add POS interface from Thor LC to the generic interface list, we see cpp_cp_svr process crash and LC reloads. We will see the below log message as soon as we add the POS interface from Thor LC to the generic interface list.

Issue is seen only when we add POS interface from Thor LC to the generic interface list.
