Known Affected Releases

Description (partial)

Upgrading/updating Guest OS from one version to another on a VM does not update the Running OS of the VM in Apic since VMware generally doesn't update guest OS right at real time as it does not generate an event to update the APIC inventory.

Upgrading/Updating Guest OS from one version to another on a VM will not generate any northbound events from VMware vcenter 5.x to the APIC until the next scheduled inventory Pull or a forced inventory sync from APIC.
