Cisco Bug: CSCut12102 - Desktop share should be RDP (not BFCP) when VXME used
Mar 05, 2015
- Cisco Virtualization Experience Media Edition
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: Desktop share should be RDP (not BFCP) when VXME is used with Jabber for Windows Conditions: Setup:
1. Establish VDI connection between client and HVD.
2. Launch Jabber and log in with valid user credentials.
3. Establish 2-way a/v call with e.g. another Jabber user.
4. While on a call, user clicks on Share Screen button.

Result:
1. If one of the call participants is a traditional Jabber user and he/she starts the share (presenter), the share is attempted via BFCP protocol (though a/v call).
2. No matter who starts the share, the other user doesn't see remote screen displayed.
3. No matter the presenter is, he/she (misleadingly) sees an indication that the screen is successfully shared.
