Known Affected Releases
Even though we don't have the support for the Cisco ASR 9k devices in UCSD 5.1, we are still able to add the device and execute the task "Execute network device CLI". In 5.2 we are strictly enforcing the type check for the discovered OS Type.whether the discovered device OS type matches the provided type. As per the request we are now allowing the Cisco ASR 9k devices to add to the UCSD and we can execute the task "Execute Network Device CLI". Symptom: 1.Unable to add the ASR 9K device to UCSD 5.3 or later versions. 2.Unable to execute the task "Execute Network Device CLI" for ASR 9K devices, which were added before upgrading to UCSD 5.2. Conditions: In case of upgraded appliance (from UCSD 5.1 to 5.2), if we have the Cisco ASR 9k added in 5.1, after the upgrade it won't allow us to execute the task "Execute Network device CLI", due to the discovered device OS type as "Other".
