Description (partial)

Symptom:
If a script was built in Script Editor 9 with custom code added, then it is not possible to open the same script in later versions of the Script Editor 10, 10.5, 10.6, unless custom code is first removed. You may be presented with a similar error when opening the script with the custom code in a newer version Script Editor: "Failed to load script file; java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: unkown extension '.ico' for script file: C:\Program Files (x86)\"

Conditions:
Custom code in scripting isn't typically supported, but an upgrade of Script Editor should not cause serialization failure. One revision to the next should at least be able to convert the Scripts so that the serialization doesn't happen and cause the script to not be able to open in a newer version of Script Editor.
