Last Modified

Dec 24, 2016

Products (1)

  • Cisco ASR 5000 Series

Known Affected Releases

17.1.2 18.0.0.59159

Description (partial)

Symptom:
'ip-route 20104 warning' message displays the string as total routes instead of total framed routes.

Warning message is as follows,

Warning: Current routes in vrf already over the limit, max-route limit will be applied to the future calls
[isp1]RTPBNGASR5KCH116(config-context-vrf)# 2015-Feb-24+00:16:44.760 [ip-route 20104 warning] [1/0/4531 <vpnmgr:4> vpnmgr_vrf.c:1547] [context: isp1, contextID: 4] [software internal system syslog] isp1: Configure maximum routes (4) when Total routes in VRF vrf1 is already 8. Max routes will be applied for future calls

Here "Total routes in VRF vrf1 is already 8" needs to be changed to " Total framed routes in VRF vrf1 is already 8"

Conditions:
Happens when the VRF route limit is set to lower than the existing framed route entries
