Symptom:
The following SW counters are not seen incrementing:

 FCP_SW_CNTR_SYNC_LOSS
 FCP_SW_CNTR_SIG_LOSS
 FCP_SW_CNTR_NON_LIP_F8_OUT
 FCP_SW_CNTR_LINK_RESET_OUT
 FCP_SW_CNTR_NOS_OUT
 FCP_SW_CNTR_LRR_OUT
 FCP_SW_CNTR_LINK_FAILURE
 FCP_SW_CNTR_OLS_IN
 FCP_SW_CNTR_OLS_OUT
 FCP_SW_CNTR_LINK_RESET_IN
 FCP_SW_CNTR_PRIM_PROTO_ERROR
 FCP_SW_CNTR_NOS_IN
 FCP_SW_CNTR_LRR_IN
 FCP_SW_CNTR_LIP_F8_OUT
 FCP_SW_CNTR_LIP_F8_IN

Many of these counters are important to understand what is happening on the link. They need to be re-added in.
