Description (partial)

Symptom:
The port-monitor tx-credit-not-available counter generates a fcIfTxWtAvgBBCreditTransitionToZero 
1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.289.1.2.1.1.38 SNMP trap. It contains a hcAlarmOwner value that is being truncated at NX-OS 6.2(3) and later.

In 5.2(8c):
hcAlarmOwner 1.3.6.1.2.1.16.29.1.1.1.1.17.65500 value is "Portmon:fcIfTxWtAvgBBCreditTransitionToZero@fc9/1"

In 6.2(3) and 6.2(11):
hcAlarmOwner 1.3.6.1.2.1.16.29.1.1.1.1.17.65500 value is "Portmon:fcIfTxWtAvgBBCreditTrans"

Attached are fcanalyzer captures at 5.2(8c), 6.2(3) and 6.2(11) from an MDS 9513.

Conditions:
All running NX-OS 6.2(3) and later.
