Symptom:
Unable to add phone number / extension number which contains # in VMO
In VMO as of now, we are using regex 
^([0-9+]?[0-9]{1,50}|
(([!@#$%^&*()+=`~|\\\\{}\\[\\];:'\"<>,./?A-Za-z0-9 _-])|(%[2-7][0-9A-F])){1,47}@([a-zA-Z0-9](-*[a-zA-Z0-9])*\\.?|[a-zA-Z0-9](-*[a-zA-z0-9])*(\\.[a-zA-Z0-9](-*[a-zA-Z0-9])*)*\\.[a-zA-Z](-*[a-zA-Z0-9])*\\.?|(([1-9]?[0-9]|1[0-9]{2,2}|2[0-4][0-9]|25[0-5])(\\.([1-9]?[0-9]|1[0-9]{2,2}|2[0-4][0-9]|25[0-5])){3})))$

Conditions:
When user enter # in VMO setting under Phone field
