- Cisco ASR 5000 Series
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: Modified trace profile parameters are failed to update on gateways even though InTracer GUI and postgress database shows the modified values. Conditions: Steps to reproduce: 1. Login to InTracer UI and navigate to Configure -->R-TCE --> New 2. Fill all mandatory fields and add the R-TCE server by clicking the save button. 3. Navigate to any other page say session search page and come back to Configure -->R-TCE and click on the RTCE Server that you configured recently. 4. Click on Trace Profile Configuration section and modify the FTP Path, FTP username, passsword and Collection timer details 5. Click on Save button 6. Verify if the modified details are saved successfully on InTracer GUI as well as on postgress database.i.e. see "from lte_traceprofileinfo" table Ex. ipmsdb=# select * from lte_traceprofileinfo; 7. Verify on gateway side if the modified entries are updated or not. Ex: [local]nc11# show config | grep tce session trace network-element pgw tce-mode push transport sftp path /manas/ username manas encrypted password +A2cx2dhvzmdh6p1frp7oxxac5ez3enwuauvo17z60rh2pzvyzsh9e collection-timer 30 8. Logout form Intracer GUI, clear browser cache, re-login, navigate to Configure -->R-TCE and click on the RTCE Server that you configured recently. 9. Repeat step 4 to 7. Test Result: 1. Profiles details were updated properly before re-login on the newly added R-TCE server. 2. After re-login the profile details were only updated on INTracer GUI and postgress database. Also even though this modification is a CLI operation on Gateway as well, Intracer GUI is not prompting for gateway credential. 3. On Gateways the old profile was not modified as per the new changes. Impact: Gateway will continue to push the xmls with old configuration and it may happen the data push will fail. Intracer operator will be under the impression that the configuration are correct. R-TCE server could not received the desired data. Expected Result: 1. On re-login the user should be prompted to give the gateway credential to modify profile details. 2. On gateway the modified details should reflect as like in Intracer GUI and postgress database.
