Symptom:
A vulnerability in the inter process communication (IPC) channel of Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client could allow an authenticated, local attacker to execute arbitrary code with elevated privileges.

The vulnerability is due to unauthenticated IPC commands which allow software installation as root. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending crafted IPC messages to install a malicious package. An exploit could allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code with elevated privileges.

Conditions:
Running an affected version of the Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client.
