Cisco Bug: CSCus77745 - Dynamic generation of heatmap is not working as expected.
Mar 11, 2016
- Cisco Prime Infrastructure
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: Wireless Maps' Floor View displays heatmaps contradicting expectations, e.g. areas of higher RF energy visibly misaligned relative to AP locations, spatial properties not in sync with sources of RF, obstacles, etc. Conditions: In absence of conditions normally triggering the basic calculation of heatmaps for given floor (e.g. AP position changes, manual execution of Recompute Prediction action) Prime 2.1 keeps the previously calculated heatmap objects in database, continuing to render the problematic images for the floor in question. Note that "Use Dynamic Maps" property set to ON would not affect the condition as the basic heatmap figures (obtained from site_survey calculations) remain unchanged
