Symptom: Assertion got fired when MME tries to send out the S1 Release for the S1AP connection which is already released and freed (Null pointer access) which results in the SESSMGR task crash with the following stack trace. Sessmgr crash with this signature: Assertion failure at sess/mme/mme-app/app/mme_msg_utils.c:5259 Function: mme_send_s1_ue_release() Expression: (((ue_enb_ctxt) != ((void *)0)) && ((ue_enb_ctxt)->uec_magic == (('M'<<24)|('U'<<16)|('E'<<8)|('C')))) Conditions: When MME tries to send out the S1 Release for the S1AP connection which is already released and freed (Null pointer access). We are assuming that S1 connection was released as part of the processing of Forward Relocation Cancel request while S10 HO is in progress. The exact scenario is not known as the crash is due to some timing or collision issue.
