Cisco Bug: CSCus72051 - Logical rules are not compliant to the contract configured

Last Modified

Sep 30, 2016

Products (1)

  • Cisco Application Policy Infrastructure Controller (APIC)

Known Affected Releases

1.0(2m)

Description (partial)

Symptom:
After deleting an Any endpoint group (a collection of endpoint groups within a context) associated with default contract relations, the logical rules for the Any endpoint group are not removed from the leaves. This allows traffic to still be generated, or directed to, the Any endpoint group.

Conditions:
There was a stale object created while running 1.0(1h), which remained there after upgrade to 1.0(2m).
This object was created by the APIC and pushed to the leaf causing the issue.
