Description (partial)

Even after using a deny command in the access-list to drop the OSPF and PIM packets, PIM and OSPF sessions remain up.

1) Apply access-list to drop the OSPF and PIM packets using IOS command:
ip access-list DENY_OSPF&PIM
    10 deny pim any any
    20 deny ospf any any
    30 permit ip any any

2) Verify that the PIM and OSPF sessions are still up even after applying the above ACL command.
