Cisco Bug: CSCus64398 - ISE sftp backup url includes root in it

Last Modified

Apr 21, 2017

Products (1)

  • Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) 3300 Series Appliances

Known Affected Releases

1.2(1.906)

Description (partial)

Symptom:
On FTP, the request is for the directory below/relative to the "$HOME" directory.
For example, it asks for: config/

On SFTP, the request is for the root of the file system.
For example: /config/

The beginning / causes the system to attempt to put the file in the root of the entire file system.

The GUI requires the location begin with a /, but only the SFTP apparently puts that beginning / in the path of the request.

Need to get this changed to remove permission issues

Conditions:
Set up sftp backups
