Cisco Bug: CSCus60275 - mcast duplication: exclude flag not set for snooping grps with vlan flap
Jun 02, 2015
- Cisco Nexus 9000 Series Switches
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: Some receivers see duplicate traffic when the peer_link_exclude_flag is set to FALSE for some groups (for some VLANS) that have a source on a VPC VLAN. Typically, if a group has a source on a VPC VLAN, both routers will be forwarder on VPC VLANS; this will have that VLAN in the OIF. So to avoid duplicates, the MCT link is not added when the SVI is expanded (peer_link_exclude_flag is SET). Conditions: The symptoms occur if, in a VPC setup, the user will flap all the MCT VLANS (not the SVIs, but the VLANS).
