Description (partial)

When MTP required is set/enabled on the SIP 8851 phone, the call recorder is called by CUCM to start setting up call recording. The SIP messaging with recvonly for the recording streams is OK for the phone. However due to the fact that there is an MTP required, the MTP essentially shields the phone from ever seeing the recvonly message. Just the same way that an MTP prevents the other side from seeing hold messages (inactive, For this reason CUCM will always setup sendrecv to the phone when MTP is required on the phone and the phone reboot intermittently will happen, since phone runs out of resource.

From customer perspective, the phone should be protected from crashing in this scenario. It's never ok to let the phone crash, it should just ignore the messages, if too many streams are asked to be opened.
