Cisco Bug: CSCus43330 - NCS6K FIA Asic PON Resets due to MBE

Known Affected Releases
Symptom: NCS single bit (correctable) and multi-bit (non correctable) parity errors on the broadcom FCT ASIC block are not detectable. In the case of SBEs, this can result in messages similar to the following: fia_driver: %PLATFORM-CIH-5-ASIC_ERROR_THRESHOLD : fia: A generic-err error has occurred causing performance loss transient. CMIC.CMIC_CMC0_IRQ_STAT4.FCT.Interrupt_Register.UnrchDestEvent Threshold has been exceeded Since this is a correctable error this has no impact on traffic and can be ignored. A reload of the line card will stop the messages. In the case of MBE, this is more severe, causing user traffic lost, user interfaces flap, and fabric planes MCAST_DOWN flap. Conditions: For MBE, this issue is easily re-producible. Sequence of events: 1. Fresh reload of Linecard 2. 93% of full mesh traffic sent on all ports using Traffic Generator continuously 3. FIA Asic PON resets will occur nearly immediately about 2 to 3 times after traffic started, and traffic loss is observed 4. FIA Asic will then become stable, and no more traffic loss is observed until the next LC reload.
