Cisco Bug: CSCus33622 - Option to select UTC as a timezone in UCS.
Aug 15, 2017
- Cisco Unified Computing System
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: Option to select UTC as a timezone in UCS. Conditions: With the current timezone options if we want the clock to be set as per UTC, we select the Europe/London, and get into the GMT timezone. GMT is often interchanged or confused with UTC. However, when there is a requirement that we don't want the DST changes to affect the systems. We should have an option to select UTC, though its a standard and not a timezone. http://www.timeanddate.com/time/gmt-utc-time.html http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_Summer_Time During summers, the time in Europe/London is moved one hour ahead of GMT.
