Products (1)

  • Cisco Unified Computing System

Known Affected Releases

2.2(3b)A

Description (partial)

Symptom:
Option to select UTC as a timezone in UCS.

Conditions:
With the current timezone options if we want the clock to be set as per UTC, we select the Europe/London, and get into the GMT timezone. GMT is often interchanged or confused with UTC.

However, when there is a requirement that we don't want the DST changes to affect the systems. We should have an option to select UTC, though its a standard and not a timezone.

During summers, the time in Europe/London is moved one hour ahead of GMT.
