Cisco Bug: CSCus30475 - Mcast PD resource counters are printed as signed int

Last Modified

May 11, 2018

Products (1)

  • Cisco ASR 9000 Series Aggregation Services Routers

Known Affected Releases

4.2.3.MCAST 5.2.2.MCAST

Description (partial)

Symptom:
Multiple IOS XR outputs used to keep track of number of memory allocations would print output as signed int
while underlying counter is unsigned int.

This leads to outputs being negative numbers for large values.

Conditions:
Memory allocation counter has reached high value, for example:

RP/0/RSP0/CPU0:router#show mfib ipv4 hardware resource-counters location 0/0/CPU0
Tue Dec 23 09:58:20.088 UTC
LC Type: Trident A9K-2T20GE-L
