Last Modified

Products (1)

  • Cisco Wide Area Application Services (WAAS) Appliances

Known Affected Releases

5.3(5)

Description (partial)

Symptom:
By default WAAS send access-request with Attribute 32 (NAS-Identifier = WAAS) as verified in Lab. We don't have an options to disable this attribute.

When a specific Radius server sees this option it rejects the request which lead to authentication failure.

Conditions:
This attribute goes in each and every access-request. In IOS, we have an option to disable this attribute.
"no radius-server attribute 32 include-in-access-req" however we don't have any similar option in WAAS firmware
