Known Affected Releases
Symptom: ELB(External) configured over the service instance with re-write ingress pop loops back the traffic without VLAN tag. Conditions: Steps: ===== 1. Create service instance 2602 (EFP) on the interface ge-0/0/0 of striker & ge-0/0/6,te-0/0/24 of the Peg 2. Create service instances with re-write ingress pop for the above mentioned interfaces of the devices. 3. Configure Ethernet loopback external in ge-0/0/0 of striker & start it successfully. 4. Start the facility(external) loopback 5. Observe Facility loop back is successfully created in the DUT. 6. Pump the traffic for the service instance 2602 with the corresponding tag from Spirent. 7. Observe the traffic from Spirent forwarded by Pegasus is looped back at the striker. 8. Observe the traffic looped back does not have VLAN tag (Achieved by mirroring the traffic at Peg. Packet capture attached) 9. Since there is no VLAN tag; the traffic received by Pegasus at ge-0/0/6 are not forwarded to te-0/0/24 interface of it 10. Here the expectation is that; traffic should get perfectly received at the Spirent Back Note: This works fine without -rewrite ingress tag pop 1 symmetric- for the service instance 2602 for the interfaces as mentioned above.
