Description (partial)

Symptom:
After clicking the link to https://dev.res.cisco.com/websafe/register in the Registered Envelope Enroll Notification (aka sender registration) email, the CRES page says:

Final Step: Account Activation
An unknown error occurred during registration.

and there's no way to proceed with registration.

Conditions:
Unregistered users who are members of domains associated with accounts having the Enable Sender Registration checkbox checked in the account's Details tab on CRES will receive an invitation to register with CRES when they send a secure message. The invitation has a link to the registration URL on CRES and an invitation code that must be entered. If the user is using a browser where no one is logged in to CRES (which will be the vast majority of cases), when they click the link, the symptoms described above will manifest.
