5.2.0.3 6.0.0

Description (partial)

Symptom:
The file /etc/login.defs, or other configuration files, could become 0 bytes in length. This will affect the PATH variables when logging into shells, so basic commands may not work. May have other side effects.

Conditions:
Deployment of a system policy which uses LDAP.

An error message similar to the following will appear in action_queue.log:

Process returned: file error - login.defs.tt: not found at /usr/local/sf/lib/perl/5.10.1/SF/AuthConfigObject.pm line 1809.
