Last Modified

Feb 15, 2018

Products (1)

  • Cisco Secure Access Control Server Solution Engine

Known Affected Releases

5.6(0.24)

Description (partial)

Symptom:
The command copy running-config scp://user@ip/running.txt gives an error message saying "% Error: invalid url" without prompting for a password.

When we replace SCP with SFTP, we are able to get the transfer running just fine.

The cisco ACS command reference document ( http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/net_mgmt/cisco_secure_access_control_system/5-1/command/reference/acs5_1_cli/cli_app_a.html#25566 ) shows the syntax for the SCP transfer.

SFTP uses SCP protocol for file transfer on Port 22

Conditions:
Run the command on ACS 5.x cli
