Description (partial)

Symptom:
If 802.1x authentication is used, 3905 model IP phone does not inform switch if the cable between phone and the user PC is down.

Because the phone does not inform the switch the switch cannot terminate 802.1x session related with the client, and if the client tries to re-connect the cable sometimes it cannot finalize 802.1x process successfully.
