Description (partial)

Symptom:
The Cisco ASR 1000 series may experience a memory leak with PPPoE sessions getting IP addresses via DHCP.

Conditions:
This situation was observed in Cisco IOS XE 3.7.6. The generic error message " %IDMGR-3-INVALID_ID: bad id in id_get (Out of IDs!) (id: 0x0)" is raised once no memory for that given table is exhausted. The situation is caused when the DHCP response comes with a delay during the IPCP negotiation and which stalls the negotiation.
