Cisco Bug: CSCur87684 - Failover sync should not include server-duid attribute
Jan 03, 2017
- Cisco Network Registrar
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: Clients may get multiple DHCPv6 Reply messages (from what looks to be the same DHCP server based on server-duid) when they should only be receiving one. This results in multiple addresses being assigned to the client. Conditions: This occurs when a failover (replace or exact mode) sync is done and the server-duid attribute was explicitly set on the server (that is the sync source).
